About English Department

          The Department of English was established in 2010, the year the college itself was founded, and has since grown into an active centre for language and literary studies. It currently has a strength of about 74 students, drawn largely from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, whom it prepares to compete confidently in higher education and employment. Its 11 faculty members specialise in areas such as American Literature, British Literature, Linguistics, and Translation Studies, and the department maintains an exclusive library for the use of its students and faculty.
