Commerce Department - About

           The Department of Commerce started B.Com programme in 2010, with a context aimed at imparting the theoretical and accounting background of academic disciplines relating to the field of Commerce and helping the students to develop their interpersonal skills and personality to become accountant, managers, and entrepreneurs and creating base for accounting professionals

            M.Com Programme started in the year 2016 andhas highly qualified, experienced, theory and accounting background faculty dedicated to produce the accounting professionals, teachers, professors, business leaders, and entrepreneurto rule the academic and corporate world. At present 1 Assistant Professor and Head, 8 Guest Lecturers are available in the department, among them 3Guest Lecturers are Doctorate and rest of the staff members are doing Ph.D.,(part- time mode).

           At present 400 students are shaping their talentsand enhancing their intellectuals in the department.Most of the students got their placements in office and companies in and around ofvandavasi, Kancheepuram, Sriperumputhur,Orgadam and MPEZ. We are striving to bring business excellence in students to successfully meet the challenges posed by globalization. We have an untiring zeal to develop the students as passionate, pro – active, striving, self-motivated persons with competitive mind-set and with openness to new ideas, new possibilities and new opportunities to compete with contemporary business world.
